About this experience
Collect your golf cart from the Pro Shop at the Arabella Golf Club at 4pm. It is stocked with ice, soft drinks and snacks, and your route is already preloaded into the cart's map. From the clubhouse you climb through the front nine of the Peter Matkovich-designed course — ranked in South Africa's top ten — with three curated stops along the way and the whole estate turning gold around you. Two to three hours, entirely at your own pace, back before 7pm.
This is the estate the way the members see it. Between the pine forest on the fourth and the lagoon-edge ninth you pass fynbos, wetland birdlife and the Kogelberg range lit up behind the greens. You'll meet other guests along the route — it's a shared, sociable experience, but there is no guide walking you through it and no schedule to keep. Cart numbers are strictly limited, so it runs first come, first served.
